The reason to go is simple: portions built for backpackers watching their Phu Quoc budget, not resort margins. This family-run spot on Tran Hung Dao runs breakfast pho through to a seafood dinner menu, coffee service filling the gap between, with plastic-chair seating that doesn't pretend otherwise.

It sits near the night market, shoulder to shoulder with dozens of similar spots on the same stretch, and still stands out on value alone. In a town leaning harder into resort dining every year, this is one of the newer signs that Duong Dong still feeds itself honestly.

This is one of my favorite restaurants, I especially love the smoked duck breast with mushroom sauce. The duck is perfectly cooked, not gamey at all, and the sauce is delicious. The food was served correctly and the service was good. This will definitely be my go-to restaurant and I will be back again.

A great local family-run restaurant if you’re looking to try authentic Vietnamese food while still having a few Western options on the menu. We were staying nearby and really enjoyed our evening meal here. The owner, who served us personally, was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and her young daughter was adorable, happily helping to bring a few things to our table. The warm, family atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable. If you’re in the area, I’d definitely recommend giving this place a try.

I really love this place, we visited phú Quôc for 2 weeks and went to Bó‘s almost every day, the food was always fresh and delicious and the service was the best, such a beautiful family who show so much kindness and are always very welcoming, I am so glad this was right near our accommodation and we were lucky enough to have found it, thank you for everything ♥️🙏🌻
