Sharp menswear for a fete night, right at Redcliffe Quay

Skip the rack t-shirts. Uptown Closet, run as the Topman Club, stocks men's shirts, sets, shoes and accessories built for a night out, not the beach.

It sits beside Candacie Capitus's womenswear shop in the same courtyard at 20 Redcliffe Quay, and the two run as one business. Between them they cover most of the quay's non-tourist clothing trade. Hours are shorter than the duty-free units nearby, so call ahead.

Good to know

• Hours are shorter than most of the quay, Tuesday to Thursday 9am to 5pm, longer on Friday and Saturday.
• Independence season in early November is when the stock leans hardest into Antiguan colours.
