A listening bar with house hot dogs in La Paternal

Records play all night here, and nobody touches a mixer. That's the whole pitch: a bar built around vinyl, part bodegón, part music room, in a corner of La Paternal that doesn't have much else like it.

The menu stays short on purpose. House panchitos, charcuterie, and lamb arayes are the only real order. People cross the city for it.

Although it was a bit out of our usual route, it was totally worth it. We loved the vibe of the place: super cool, with amazing lighting, vinyl records, and an atmosphere that makes you feel like you're in another part of the world. There were several of us, so we ordered almost everything on the menu to share. Our favorites were the hot dog and the roast beef sandwich. Plus, the wines are very reasonably priced.

Upon arrival, the atmosphere was perfect for enjoying time with friends. It's a quiet place to chat, celebrate your birthday, and feel right at home. The food is spectacular; the flavors and quality of the cuisine are mind-blowing. The service is very attentive at all times. It's a place I'll always want to return to ♥️

Perfect place to have wine or a drink. The menu has different and very interesting options. The potato with spicy sauce is very tasty and the croquettes too, the panchito was okay, nothing special. I've been twice and would definitely go back. I highly recommend the place.

I'm giving it such a low rating because I left the place completely overwhelmed, and I'm a huge fan of projects with a musical concept, but I literally hated the DJ. He blasted the music like we were in a nightclub. I had to yell at my friends who were less than a meter away. It was my birthday dinner, and I didn't even feel like ordering dessert or anything because I was having such a terrible time. We even asked if they could turn the music down a bit, and they only lowered it for a minute before turning it right back up. It really ruined the whole dining experience, which was otherwise a 10/10.

The food is good. We ordered the panchitos (small, fried bread rolls) and they were very well done. The fish tartare was tasty, although not particularly groundbreaking. The mushrooms as an appetizer were very good. The problem was the atmosphere: the music was extremely loud. It was one of the girls in our group's birthdays, and we didn't even order anything to celebrate because it was literally impossible to have a conversation. We asked if they could turn it down a bit; they lowered it for a couple of minutes, but it quickly returned to the same volume. We ended up leaving earlier than we would have liked because of that. It's a shame, because the food is good, but the noise level makes the experience unenjoyable.
