Korean toast and croissants in Barrio Chino
Nothing else in Buenos Aires does Korean street toast like this. Cristina Dai and Macarena Guastaferro mix it with French pastry and a batch of alfajores on the side, inside a gallery on Olazábal.
The toast is the reason to come. Manly hides among the unit numbers of the gallery, so check them before you give up looking.

The K-Toastie Cheeseburger 🍔 was delicious, the fries were a small portion (considering the price) but the K-Toastie burger was fantastic and very filling. The service was good and the place was a little dirty, but that's normal for an outdoor restaurant.

A delicious, moderately sweet, and light cake, I 100% recommend it. I'll come back to try the burgers; they look delicious. Promo set: coffee + cake = 17,000 pesos.

The service was good, the food was delicious, and the sandwiches are huge. They're great for sharing; I recommend ordering them as a combo with fries. We ordered a can of lemonade, and it was exquisite. It's located on the Viaviva promenade, so the tables are outdoors, with no indoor seating.

We'd been walking a lot in Chinatown and this place saved our feet. We got a combo deal with a drink and a cake of our choice, plus a latte and a matcha roll. The food was good, but not amazing. Maybe we were just hungry, which is why we ate everything. I recommend ordering a latte instead of a cappuccino because they taste practically the same, except the latte has more. The combo deal was more expensive than buying the other items separately. There are much better places nearby to try new things!

The sandwiches are generous, come with fries and a drink, or you can order the sandwich on its own. I had the vegetarian one with arugula and caramelized onions. I would add more arugula mixed into the scrambled egg, not underneath it, because it was hard to reach. The bread was excellent! The price is reasonable for the portion size. We had lunch there; they also have afternoon snacks, and the menu looks appealing. I'll definitely be back.
