By day it's a wine shop. By night the same bottles turn into a bar, with enough food on offer that you won't want to leave early. The trick here is the pricing: bottles run closer to retail than restaurant markup.

The crew behind LPO in Tarragindi opened this one in Newstead, and it's already been called one of Brisbane's best new venues. Walk it from Fortitude Valley station in about fifteen minutes.

Stopped by on a Sunday night to share a bottle of wine with another person. The location is great - not too close to valley centre and is tucked away. The bar itself is very nice with many different places to sit. Staff are very welcoming and give great suggestions based on what you want. Dan was the highlight of our night though. He was very genuine and helpful. Thank you to the whole team for making our night special!

Love this place so much! The staff are so friendly and accomodating and the space is a vibe. Different to any place I’ve been to. Worth trying. If you are wanting to learn about wine, they also do a wine tasting which is fun and very interesting! Highly recommend!!!

Great wine, exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff took the time to chat and made us feel extremely welcome. A beautifully designed space — I could sit there for hours.

I stopped in here on the way home from work the other night and I super loved it. The staff were really knowledgeable and was able to give me a few recommendations for I picked up one that was really delicious! I will definitely come back again soon. The music and vibes are really high.

Wow what a fun bar, been here a few times now. Wine knowledge is excellent, wine lists are interesting and diverse. Always feel looked after, has a house party vibe to it. Dan and team are consumate hospitality professionals. A broad spectrum of wine is available, not just young person funky wines nor older world styles. We will be back. Always a good time.
