The basement bar behind Brisbane's least marked door

Find the alley off Edward Street, then the unmarked door, then the stairs down. Shaman keeps its tropical drinks sharp instead of leaning into tiki-bar kitsch, and the room opens up far bigger than the entrance lets on.

Go on a weekend and stay late. It runs well past the early crowd, and the room only gets better once it fills in.

Found this bar accidentally and just had to come back again the next day. The service received from the staff, especially Jay, was above and beyond. Delicious drinks and great atmosphere! We'll definitely be back next time we're in Brisbane! 🍹🍹

A hidden gem if you can find the place. In a back of a laneway and head down the stairs where you'll find a small cosy basement bar full of character. One beer choice, some wines, and lots of cocktails.

We loved the theming of the bar, and it was easy to get a table on a Saturday afternoon! Staff were welcoming and the drinks were exceptional. My only complaint would be the music choice as they were playing Latin American dance music which didn’t really suit the vibe
