One of the few Emerald Bay kitchens open on Sundays

It's one of the few restaurants in this part of the island that stays open on Sundays, which matters on an island where plenty of kitchens close for the day. Tuesday nights bring live music and a fuller crowd than the rest of the week.

Palapa is Grand Isle Resort's all-day restaurant, running breakfast, lunch and dinner out of an open-air room with a wide view of Emerald Bay. The poolside bar runs all day alongside the dining room.
