The Fish Fry stall crab cakes made famous

Crab cakes are the reason Shirley's shows up first on nearly every ranking of The Fish Fry, the strip of Bahamian seafood spots west of George Town. It opens in the afternoon and empties out after 8pm, better suited to an early dinner than a late one.

Reservations are recommended on the strip's busier nights, Friday through Sunday, when live music sometimes runs alongside the food.
