Reliable beach and pool tables when the resorts go dark

Tables split between the beach and the pool deck here, with a menu of Bahamian and international basics: chicken, seafood and pizza, nothing that needs much explanation. It's open daily from 8:30am into the evening, breakfast through dinner in one long stretch.

Splash Beach Bar & Grill sits at Hideaways Palm Bay, about a mile and a half west of downtown George Town. It stays a reliable option even on days when the fancier resort dining rooms are dark.
