Free entry until 10pm, then a private club takes over
Ökēn sits in the basement of TheMerode, a private club near the Sablon, right below its Italian restaurant Ciao. Elio Pani and Alexis Mosselmans built the cocktail programme so architecture, flavour and music work as one, the drink in the glass is only part of the story.
Non-members get in free before 10pm. After that, a cover charge kicks in and the room shifts to a members-first crowd.

Loved the atmosphere and the food was amazing. The service was amazing! The cocktails and mocktails were innovative. Book in advance!

Really good, they thought about everything: - Welcome drink - Amazing bar stools with padding - Good DJ (depends on when you come ofc) - On the expensive side (€18 per cocktail) but absolutely worth the vibe, the setting, the people and the drinks Egee did our drinks, all smiles and taste.

My friend and I had to wait a really long time for our drinks, throughout the whole evening. We were sitting at the bar so it's not even as if the waiters couldnt notice. That was the only bad point of the evening. Other than that the cocktails were great and the atmosphere quite cosy. But with a place like that one expects to be served properly...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Such a great night at OKEN. We went there for dinner and ended up staying until almost 3 AM because the vibe kept getting better and better. The food was simply excellent, really tasty dishes that were perfect to share. You can tell they put real thought into the menu and the quality of the ingredients. Never thought I’d be eating the best Tuna tataki since my last trip to Japan in a cocktail bar in Brussels 🙃 The cocktails were also amazing. Super well balanced, creative, and beautifully presented. Definitely one of the best places in Brussels if you enjoy good mixology. What I loved most is how the place evolves during the night. It starts as a relaxed cocktail bar where you can enjoy dinner and drinks, and later it turns into a lively party with DJs and a great crowd. The music and atmosphere were fantastic. If you’re looking for a spot in Brussels where you can have great food, delicious cocktails, and a fun night out all in one place, OKEN is definitely worth visit !

Very cool place, great cocktails, good music...but terrible service. Went two times and got pissed, not just disappointed. Also, cocktails should be made fresh from scratch, especially when you are paying 15eur each. Overall, very nice concept that needs improvement in terms of approach and overall customer experience.
