Roberta Sudbrack's menu breaks Gramado's fondue habit

Skip the fondue circuit. Inside the Wood Hotel, Ocre runs on a menu from chef Roberta Sudbrack, and it doesn't taste like anywhere else in town.

There's a charcuterie bar alongside the main restaurant if you want something lighter. This is the best cooking in Gramado, and the bill reflects it.

The food was wonderful, everything was very tasty and presented in a mouthwatering way. Highlights included the Floating Tomatoes appetizer and the Three Milks Cake dessert. Cozy atmosphere and good service.

What a delightful place! Intimate, beautifully decorated, excellent drinks! A unique charcuterie experience, I also had a wonderful "wood dog" hot dog! I highly recommend it. Very friendly service.

The atmosphere is wonderful, with attention to detail, and the food is exceptionally good. Each dish has its own signature; the spices and ingredients complement each other perfectly. I think it's perhaps the best place I ate in Gramado, truly excellent. A visit to this place is a must for anyone who enjoys gastronomy.

Top-notch food! Nothing to do with tourist traps in Gramado. It's about ingredients and well-executed food.

The restaurant is very beautiful and has a pleasant atmosphere, but the experience doesn't match the price level. With high prices (R$150 corkage fee, R$70 for water, main courses between R$110 and R$200, desserts up to R$80), the expectation is for a differentiated service and experience—which didn't happen. The service was inconsistent: we had to call the waiters several times to place orders or request items, without the expected attention throughout the evening. On a busy holiday, this should have been anticipated and well managed. The food was okay, but nothing special—it neither surprises nor justifies the price. Overall, it's a place with potential, but it can still evolve considerably to deliver an experience more aligned with its purpose.
