Pé-limpo bar built around one plate: rabada bolovo
Baixaria sits at the top of Voluntários da Pátria, a pé-limpo bar in the old sense: you stand, the beer is cheap, and everyone orders the same thing.
That thing is the rabada bolovo, oxtail wrapped around a boiled egg and fried whole. Get there early or it's gone.

Beautiful space, super attentive staff, and the order arrived very quickly! The chicken was crispy and juicy, with a delicious seasoning... I fell in love! I didn't take a picture, but the brigadeiro (Brazilian chocolate fudge) served in a spoon is one of the tastiest I've ever had, the texture is so comforting... wow... so good!

Cool spot on the corner of Voluntários and Botafogo beach. Very good service from Bárbara and Brenda, lunch is reasonably priced (around 30 reais), tasty snacks and ice-cold Brahma draft beer for 11 reais. Don't forget to order the burnt coconut batida, it's delicious. The bathroom is cramped and dirty.

Great option for a weekend afternoon. The food is wonderful. The oxtail bolovo (a type of Brazilian cake) is ridiculously good and the parmigiana is really cool. Great drinks and very nice service. We were served by Brenda. It's well worth a visit and has great prices.
