Fresh pasta at bar prices is the whole trick here. Mio runs a boteco setup on Ataulfo de Paiva with an Italian kitchen tucked behind the counter, so the plates are better than the room lets on.
Thursday flips the switch: live jazz takes over and the crowd shifts with it. Every other night it's a straightforward Leblon local's bar.

The staff are friendly and patient with my Portuguese, and the food is excellent for the price. I highly recommend the arancini and the filet mignon with gnocchi. If you order the steak mal passado, they give you a thicker cut 👨🍳👌

Went with a group of 6, everyone thought their meal was just OK. Nothing to write home about. I ordered gnocchi with truffle it was fine

Really great Jorge Armada cocktail, food was ok, fairly average but nice atmosphere for snacks and a few drinks (very noisy if you’re sat outside closest to the road but better inside)
