Most people walking College Street have no idea there's a bar above J's Steak Frites. Find the staircase and you're in: red booths, low light, a drinks list built around herbaceous bitters.

Order the Kermit's Revenge if you want to know what this place is really about. The room fills up after eleven, once the restaurants downstairs start clearing out.

What a magical place! A lovely assortment of cocktails and a very chic ambience. And the servers weren’t annoying, which is rare for a speakeasy.

Very nice cocktail bar on College St. West. Great ambiance. Friendly and knowledgeable mixologists. We asked for off the menu mixologist’s creations and were treated to some outstanding cocktails. Will definitely return!

A hidden gem with a speakeasy ambiance. The hospitality is welcoming, and the cocktail program is thoughtful and inventive. Having great steak downstairs and finished the night upstairs with delicious, well-crafted cocktails. Definitely recommend this combo!

Great, comfortable place with delicious cocktails. The service was wonderful and the bartender took the time to understand our preferences and find a drink we really enjoyed. We will be back for sure!
