Coffee break on Ostrava's busiest walking street

Malö kafe sits right on the pedestrianised stretch of 28. října, the street that carries most of the foot traffic between Masarykovo náměstí and the north side of the centre. It's a small, no-frills coffee counter built for people passing through, not lingering.

It's one of several cafes that opened along this same strip in early 2026, part of what local press is calling Ostrava's cafe boom. Grab a cup and keep walking, or claim one of the few seats before the office crowd does.
