Coffee on the square Ostravans still call Kuří rynek
Grab a table on Jiráskovo náměstí and you're sitting where Taverna na Rynku used to pour drinks. miluju cafe took over the space with a brighter, daytime-first setup built for coffee and sitting still for a while.
The name just means "I love" in Czech, which fits a square that's quietly turned into one of the centre's better spots for small independent cafes. Come for a slow morning, not a quick espresso and run.

Healthy, tasty, and beautifully presented dishes. The coffee was excellent as well. Everything was fresh, delicious, and prepared with great attention to detail. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was friendly.

It’s a cozy place to relax and chill. Tasted Blueberry cloudy caffe latte and choco coconut cafe latte. Love both. Workers are friendly. Lavatories are clean. And most importantly, dog friendly 🫶🏼

Cozy place to hang out. Calm and peaceful. The workers are friendly. Tasted coconut cloudy matcha, yuzu, blueberry cloudy cafe, ube cafe latte with white chocolate. All are delicious but matcha and yuzu higly recommended

The café’s breakfast menu is fantastic; we had an English breakfast and everything was absolutely fresh. There’s also a wide variety of drinks and desserts on offer, all of which are very tempting. It’s a place you simply shouldn't miss when visiting Ostrava. We’ll definitely visit there again when we return to Ostrava for Beats for Love this summer.
