Coffee and cocktails a few steps from the surf break

Surf Blue Café sits in Playa Encuentro, the surf beach west of central Cabarete where the surf lodges and schools cluster. It runs coffee and food in the morning, then shifts to a small cocktail bar by early evening.

Hours are Tuesday to Sunday, kitchen until 3pm and bar until 6pm, closed Mondays. It fills a real gap: Encuentro has surf schools and guesthouses but very few places to sit down for a drink.
