A vintage mirror on the wall sets the tone at Café Jolie, a deliberately old-fashioned coffee spot that means it. Coffee is the point, but the menu covers breakfast and something sweet in the afternoon.

Hours run 8am to 8pm Tuesday through Friday, shrinking to 8am to 4pm on weekends. It's one of several new coffee spots on this block, competing more on atmosphere than on the coffee itself.

This place is truly a gem, cozy, colorful, amazing food and wonderful service with a smile. My beautiful friend Miriam De La Paz painted the murals and the windows with the most colorful art, if you are in Las Terrenas do not forget to stop by and enjoy it like we did. 10/10

We had a great experience here, both had Eggs Benedict with sourdough and it was very tasty. The waitress and owner were very friendly with good service. The location is beautiful, for me it's the nicest part of Las Terrenas and it was also very quiet away from the noisy road and motorbikes. Prices were also very reasonable, better than than most places in town. My wife said the coffee was good and she is very picky with coffee.

FANTASTIC hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benedict! Nearly impossible to find In Latin America and this was truly lovely, lemony, smooth, and tasty. I was so happy to eat it. The French toast was also lovely. Soft bread, nice flavor, on the sweet side. Pistachio latte was very tasty, pretty, and not too sweet. The courtyard and decor are charming. It you’re in a short dress I recommend asking for a cushion, as the chairs can hurt bare legs but the cushions are super comfy and cute. We really enjoyed the meal, the ambiance, the decor, and the considerate and sweet service. Even the bathroom was comfortable. For a new restaraunt they’re absolutely killing it. I was so impressed. Would absolutely love to come back — and to try the sister restaraunt that opens for dinner!
