Wine, cigars and foie gras in one small storefront

Holis-Q, also known as Quinto Elemento, runs a wine shop, bar and cigar lounge in one small space. It imports its own wines, whiskies and cognacs, and the food side runs to foie gras and caviar.

A dedicated cigar lounge has its own screen for sports, separate from the main bar, staffed by a sommelier who runs tastings. It's a small space, so a weekend visit without a reservation can mean standing.

Very luxurious place. The bar manager Yacinto has incredible attention to detail . He recommended a perfect scotch and made a perfect drink for me . I rolled into the cigar lounge where I met Jose who showed me the full selection and help me land on a nice choice. This place screams quality as soon as you walk in ! Highly recommend if your in LT

Today began with an excellent breakfast at the new HOLIS Q restaurant in Las Terrenas. The restaurant is new, very modern, and located on the main avenue. We were a little disappointed that there wasn't a traditional paper menu, only a digital one. However, the waitress explained that this was due to a renovation and update of the menu. We ordered a Dominican breakfast (mangú, fried egg, fried cheese, and salami), along with two coffees with milk, strawberry juice, and orange juice. As a second option, we also ordered scrambled eggs with bread. We also like good-quality cheese, ham, or salami for breakfast. We wanted to order cheese and ham, but this option wasn't available. However, the chef sent us a plate with sandwiches, butter, and jam. The mangú was delicious, and the portion was just right—not too big, not too small. The scrambled eggs were also very tasty. What we especially loved were the juices, both the strawberry and the orange. The waitresses were very friendly and helpful, patiently answering all our questions. The food arrived quickly, in about 10 minutes. The atmosphere is very welcoming and modern. There is a wide selection of wines, rums, and other alcoholic beverages. As a cigar aficionado, I greatly appreciated the cigar lounge and the excellent variety available. The restaurant is very modern, beautiful, and boasts a truly attractive design. The food was good, flavorful, and fresh. The only things that disappointed us were the lack of a printed menu and the absence of ham. The breakfast offerings are relatively limited; we were expecting something more specific and special, something that would make us want to return once or twice a month for a special treat. Personally, for the same price, I would appreciate more upscale options, such as eggs Benedict with salmon or caviar, or avocado toast with microgreens and burrata. The possibilities are numerous, and the place would undoubtedly benefit from being exceptional not only for its design but also for its cuisine. The bill came to 2,300 pesos, which seemed a bit higher than expected, since a similar breakfast can be found elsewhere for half the price. However, everything was perfect; the place has a VIP atmosphere and the prices reflect that.
