Free history theme park in Downtown Punta Cana

Skip another beach day and walk into Dominican history instead. Dominicania calls itself the country's first historical and cultural theme park, and there's no gift-shop-with-a-flag energy here, it actually walks you through Dominican identity, room by room.

Getting in costs nothing. Only the add-on experiences carry a separate ticket. The park sits inside the same Downtown complex as the restaurants and bars, not off on some lot by itself, so it's an easy stop before dinner.
