A restaurant built into an actual cave on Avenida Barceló

Part of the dining room at La Nena sits inside a real cave, not a fake rock wall bolted on for photos. Skeptics who go in mostly come out saying it holds up. Next door is La Nena Home, a shop selling handmade decor pieces you can browse before or after breakfast and dinner.

The concept started in Milan, and this is its first stop in Latin America. It shows: the design reads more European boutique than beach shack.
