Design store that grew into 400 square metres in Serrallés

El Estudio Store has represented European and Latin American design brands exclusively in the Dominican Republic for more than a decade, Ēter joined the roster in 2023. The floor holds furniture, lighting and objects. Some pieces are made under the shop's own label.

In spring 2025 it moved into roughly 400 square metres on Calle Filomena Gómez de Cova in Ensanche Serrallés. Founder Andrés Aybar has also edited a Dominican design magazine, which shows in how the shop is run.

Good to know

• Several of the brands here are sold nowhere else in the country, so it is worth asking what is exclusive.
• The brand also runs a separate outlet store a few blocks away, if you are hunting a price.
