Climb the Michelsberg and the reward is a terrace looking down over the Regnitz and the rooftops of the Sandstraße quarter. Most of Bamberg sits at river level, so a view like this is rare in this city.

The bar shares its building with the Italian restaurant Da Francesco, and pours champagne and wine alongside cocktails and small plates. Come for sunset and stay for the skyline.

We had a fantastic evening with seven people at the champagne bar – superb service, delicious food, and great music. A great selection of drinks, and the chocolate soufflé is especially recommended! We'll definitely be back next time we're in Bamberg! :)

My visit to the bar left me with mixed feelings. The ambiance is truly lovely and inviting. You immediately feel comfortable in the stylish surroundings. The service was very attentive and friendly throughout the evening. A particular highlight is the option to have your parking ticket validated on-site. That's an extremely convenient service for guests. Unfortunately, the quality of the drinks was a massive disappointment. The Espresso Martini was simply not good and did not meet the bar's usual standards.

The Champagne Bar at Ristorante da Francesco in Bamberg is a real gem. Whether for weekend parties, corporate events, or birthdays – this venue is top-notch. I had the pleasure of DJing at a private event and was blown away. The sound system is fantastic – pure emotion. The staff is incredibly professional and attentive, and Francesco's experience shines through in every detail. An absolute must-visit in Bamberg – I'm thrilled!
