Secondhand furniture with an antiques-shop eye

Skip the flat-pack aisle. Fundstück fills a warehouse space in Bamberg's harbor district with secondhand furniture, tableware and household objects, each one sourced to be resold rather than dumped.

The room has space to actually browse, closer to a curated antiques dealer than a typical charity shop, but prices stay accessible. It's one of several secondhand shops along Laubanger, and the first built specifically around furniture and homeware.

A really lovely shop with lots of unique vintage and second-hand items. You can immediately tell that everything has been chosen with great care. The atmosphere is relaxed, tidy, and modern. Plus, the service is very friendly and the prices are fair. Definitely a new highlight in Bamberg – I'll be back!

What a wonderful shop! From beautiful antique furniture to crystals. I bought a gorgeous vase there, among other things. Everything is very well organized and tidy. The prices are more than fair and the staff are super friendly. I'll definitely be back!
