Onette borrows its format from the American luncheonette, a small daytime spot built around sandwiches, salads and breakfast, but the details stay local: crochet curtains up front, Spreewald pickles on the side.

Breakfast and lunch run Tuesday through Sunday. Thursday to Saturday evenings the same room turns into a wine bar with snacks, a different crowd entirely.

My favorite place in this district 😍 The staff is always friendly, and the food is delicious. Just be aware that you probably won’t get a seat right away, as it’s usually fully booked on weekends.

Absolutely loved it here! Staff was super friendly and forthcoming and the breakfast burger was to die for. I literally don’t remember having a better breakfast burger anywhere. Definitely also try the Quarkbällchen; they were giving Germany meets Midwest country fair. All in all it’s an intriguing fusion of American diner and Spreewald cuisine. There’s always a long wait on weekends. It’s better when it’s sunny. We’ll be back for sure!

I think I just found my new favourite breakfast/brunch spot in Berlin! I’m a sucker for breakfast sandwiches and this one is definitely on par with the ones I miss in America 🦅 silky scrambled eggs, american cheese, crispy bacon on a soft fluffy bun. I saw a review here that said it needed a pickle on the side to cut through the richness and I’m glad got the pickle bc it was really good too Staff are nice and friendly. Love the minimalist diner inspired decor. Definitely coming back to try their other stuff wooo 💗

Amazing food, best people and great atmosphere! Their smoked trout sandwich and quarkbällchen are absolutely delicious. Definitely my favorite spot in Berlin 💛
