Gluten-free café near the Goldener Reiter, opened by Tino and Sabrina Piontek

Olivias Paradise sits between the Goldener Reiter statue and the Dreikönigskirche on Hauptstraße, a fully gluten-free café from musician Tino Piontek (Purple Disco Machine) and his wife Sabrina. They named it after their daughter Olivia, who has celiac disease and pushed the family to rethink their kitchen.

Inside seats about 20, with another 18 outside. No DJ merch or Purple Disco Machine branding here, just gluten-free bread, pastries and sweets. Opens May 1, 2026.

What a beautiful café in city center Dresden, near "Goldener Reiter"! I had found it on Instagram and had it on my "to do's" when coming back to visit my hometown. And it did not disappoint. We were two people and ordered a yoghurt bowl and breakfast plate to share, it was perfect! As dessert we got the strawberry-rhubarb-cheesecake and a lavender-pastel, this was just outstanding and the best glutenfree dessert I have ever had. The coffees as well were great, caffeine free option available. THANK YOU at Olivia's paradise for a wonderful experience and thank you to Claudia who was our waitress and who deserves an extra star! We will be back!

I like the idea of a gluten-free café – a very pretty and appealing selection of cakes and sweets – and breakfast too – you can choose whether to sit outside or inside. I sat outside in glorious summer weather with a view over the pedestrian zone lined with plane trees. You order and pay at the counter, and I was able to take the cake straight to my table. However, I then had to wait over 20 minutes for my coffee. I think you're still in the learning phase, as all the guests outside had a similar experience. That's the only drawback – the coffee was excellent – I'll be back.

A wonderful place with very friendly service. The lemon dessert is the best gluten-free treat I’ve ever had. The perfect spot to start the day right 🙂

A sweet little café right on the main street, run with so much love and hospitality 💖 The prices are a bit steep, but enjoying gluten-free cake is simply priceless! Thank you so much for the lovely service!
