Stappo opens on October 1, 2025, on a rooftop above Karl-Heine-Straße, pouring a mostly natural wine list alongside Mediterranean small plates. From up here you get a view over Plagwitz's canal-side roofs instead of the ground-floor bars lining the street below.

Simply an outstanding restaurant. The food is incredibly delicious. The kitchen does a superb job. I highly recommend the dessert with almond cake and lemon sorbet! The service is also incredibly attentive and friendly; you simply feel welcome. The location is absolutely beautiful, perfect for enjoying a warm evening on the rooftop terrace. I highly recommend it!

Highly recommended! Excellent service from the very friendly and knowledgable staff. The food is good. We had perfectly coocked cod and asparagus with a miso sauce hollandaise. The wine selection is well curated. Not the biggest selection but top German producers (and international wines). We had an erste lage Battenfeld-Spanier Mölheim riesling 20219 I would buy again any day. The room and ambience is amazing.
