Utila's only wine bar, right by the ferry dock

Step off the boat and Wine Attic is already waiting in the Mango Tree Building. The list beats what you'd expect on a dive island: France, Spain, Italy, New Zealand, Australia, the US, plus a cheese menu built for people who take pairing seriously.

Regulars join the monthly Wine Club, two bottles plus a food discount, and the bar's enough of a local fixture to sponsor the cinema's family movie day.

Good to know

Wine Club Wednesdays run two bottles a month with a food discount attached, worth asking about if you're staying a while.
Cases of six or more get a 15% discount if you're stocking up for a rental.

Nice place on the third floor terrace not much available in food but a good wine selection. Amazing staff great atmosphere (just watch out for mangos falling from the tree.

During our stay on the island we visited the Wine Attic about 4 times we loved it so much. The owners are lovely and make you feel right at home and amazing to have access to wines and cheeses from back home that we hadn’t tasted in months! One of our favourite spots on the island for sure :)

Fabulous first time experience. Tucked away from the main street high up in the trees on a foliage filled deck. Calm lighting. Comfortable indoor & outdoor seating (limited, consider a reservation). Soft but fun modern music sets the tone. The scotch eggs were delicious! Full flavoured cheeses served w hot from the oven bread. Sometimes hard to get real breakfast sausage or charcuterie meats / cheese in Utila, so this is a treat. All glasses for beers & wine are double lined (prevent condensation). & Real glass (this of course makes a difference). Games collection for your playing pleasure. Cards Against Humanity & more. Everyone had such a good time. Will definitely be back. *Located across from Huffy's, between Rose Hotel & Munchies restaurant. Above the Gelato ice cream shop. Follow stairs to the left all the way to the top.
