Weekend brunch in Akureyri's oldest timber house

Kaffi Ilmur fills the old Ingimarshús building on Hafnarstræti, all timber walls and beams, with a garden out back for the rare warm afternoon. The house is as much the draw as the food.

Weekends bring a big brunch buffet and it fills up fast. Come on a weekday instead for coffee and a slice of home baked cake without the wait.

Perfect fresh salmon with pasta. Lamb soup also extraordinary. Great lunch sitting on the upper terrace under sunny sky. Nice music creates relaxing atmosphere.

Order: Falafel Served: fries (with a few pieces falafel) The dich is 3/4 fries. Verry sad. Great staff, great ambiance

What a wonderful cafe. So cosy and a super rustic atmosphere. Great coffee and delicious pastries. The staff is super friendly, and you know what? Je kan er gewoon met nederlands terecht! Een aanrader!!
