Porridge-led breakfasts next door to Raja Tuna

Cafe Kohibara opened September 13, 2025, on Jalan Gunung Latimojong, sharing a building with its sister restaurant Raja Tuna. Breakfast runs until 10am and rotates through a list of porridge styles, an unusual move for a new Makassar cafe, where pastries or toast usually lead the menu.

Coffee starts around Rp18,000, priced above street stalls but well under the city's sky-lounge cafes. Same owner, same building, separate menus: order Kohibara's porridge and Raja Tuna's curry at one table without switching seats.
