A vintage cafe inside a restored old residence in Keputran

Binar Sebaya opened on Jalan Comal in Keputran in July 2026, set inside a restored residential building that keeps its original architecture rather than gutting it for a modern fit-out. The preserved details, old window frames and the building's original floor plan among them, are doing a lot of the cafe's atmosphere work instead of a designed-from-scratch interior.

The cafe's own account describes its evenings as "slow nights... where work feels lighter," positioning it as a place people settle into rather than pass through. It's a quieter entry compared to the more aesthetic, Instagram-forward cafes that opened around the same month elsewhere in the city.
