MANTIS Bar & Lounge opened on Jalan Pandegiling in July 2026, one of the newer nightlife venues to land on a street that has been steadily filling in with bars over the past year. The kitchen runs both Indonesian and Western dishes, though the room is built more around the evening drinks crowd than the dinner one.

Live music and DJ sets fill out the later hours, giving it a nightlife identity a straightforward bar wouldn't carry. It shares a building on Pandegiling with Sugar Spoon, which opened the same month running a gentler daytime cafe format in the same stretch of street.
