Argentine steaks off a two-meter wood-fire grill in Kedewatan

An Argentine chef with thirty years of cooking across four continents opened Chupacabras in Kedewatan on 15 July 2024, building the whole restaurant around a two-meter wood-fire grill and a valley view.

The South American menu runs steak-forward, with prices from IDR 190,000 to 250,000 depending on the cut. The grill sits in view of most of the dining room, so you watch the fire work before the plate arrives. By its second anniversary in July 2026, it had become a regular stop on Ubud's steakhouse-and-grill circuit.
