A calmer bistro-bar pocket on the street that never calms down

Nahalat Binyamin gets loud fast, but Benjamin 31 lets you actually hear your table. It's the low-volume option on a street full of louder openings, and after a lap of those, that quiet feels almost radical.

Chef Itay Balhasan, Tito to the industry, cooked at Cafe Europa and Basta before landing here. His smashburger is the reason to come back. Get there early, the happy hour is worth planning around.

Happy hour was really nice! Ended quite late (20:00) with 30% off both food and drinks. We had the croquette and the greens plate, both were delicious.

Loved this spot! Came for afternoon drinks and snacks. Highly recommend the green room martini, so fresh! Also, the toastados and smash burgers. Drink here! Coming back soon

My husband and I had a fabulous experience here when visiting from Toronto! If you’re looking for a simple and impressive dinner and cocktail/wine spot, this is a new gem in the best area. We loved all of the dishes we had, including the Caesar Salad and a Jerusalem Artichoke dish. Service was friendly and very fast. Oh and we were lucky enough to happen to be there during happy hour when everything was discounted- amazing value! We will be back again before we fly out!
