Skip the tasting menu and just eat. Chef Haim Cohen turned the entrance courtyard of his Yaffo restaurant into a wine bar, and the whole point is access to his kitchen without the multi-course commitment. Small plates run 36 to 78 shekels, a few of them lifted straight from TikTok trends.

We had a perfect evening! The portions are small, but the pricing is appropriate and allows you to taste a wider variety of the menu. The wine is very reasonably priced, the white tablecloths add romance and atmosphere, and the service is fast, smiling, and businesslike. Yesterday we were at Haim Cohen's Wine House and it was simply perfect! The food was amazing – from the fresh vegetables and precise seasoning to the high-quality meat that arrived at a perfect level of preparation. Everything was incredibly fresh, the wine was excellent and the dessert at the end closed out the evening in the most delicious way possible. Beyond the food, the service of the staff was simply above and beyond, warm and welcoming from the heart. An exceptional experience, highly recommended and we will definitely be back! Thank you to Laor, Amit and Gili for taking care of everything and providing excellent service.
