A small bar by Osaka Tenmangū, no queue required

Skip the crowds and duck into this small room a few steps from Osaka Tenmangū shrine. The menu is short, the space is tight, and there's no queue system, a small mercy in a neighborhood that fills up fast.

Come July, the shrine hosts Tenjin Matsuri, one of Japan's three biggest festivals. The rest of the year, the streets outside stay quiet.
