Clay Studio Café

The pottery café's new outlet lands right on Central Park
Skip the original spot by the ceramics studio and head to Central Park instead. Clay Studio Café's second Hulhumalé location puts the same plant-filled, cozy look in the middle of one of the island's busiest gathering spots, with specialty coffee, brunch plates and desserts all day.
The first café built its name tucked beside a niche pottery workshop. This one trades that quiet corner for foot traffic, same menu, same team, bigger crowd.

My favourite coffee place in hulhumale. The coffee beans they use are special blend so it's not bitter and IG worthy latte art! The cheesecake is a must to pair with the coffee. They have books on the shelves you can casually browse on a slow day. It's a nice little coffee shop to go to with friends or for a date.

Great atmosphere and food is excellent. A small clay studio is next to the cafe/restaurant. Very neat place. Comment for tourists : the food is quite spicy. If not used to it ask for less spicy of possible. But meals are delicious none the less !

I ordered the Hainan chicken rice at first everything seems good but after i eat the chicken and saw inside it was still undercooked only the ice peach tea was good. The cafe itself is small but has good ambience

This review is for the studio, not the cafe. We went as a group of three into a wheel throwing tasting private course. We enjoyed the course and all got something done to be fired. We went ahead to do some mini vases. I've done throwing wheel before with white clay which is apparently the easiest. Now we worked with brown clay that was one of the hardest apparently. It was fun and therapeutic. I'd love to do it again one day with another clay.
