Local gelato, finally with a shopfront

Screw pine sits next to more familiar scoops here, because Iceto builds its gelato around Maldivian flavours instead of copying an Italian formula wholesale. It's a homegrown brand, made by Cidees Kitchen, that spent years doing pop-ups and food carnivals before landing this spot on Dhigga Magu.

A local name getting its own storefront instead of rotating through festival stalls says something about where Hulhumalé's food scene is headed.
