INDYA reopened on 6 May 2025 as part of The St. Regis Le Morne's relaunch, with chef Malik Basha running a menu that leans progressive rather than banquet-style Indian. Tandoori lamb chops in a Kashmiri chili curry sauce is the dish most reviewers mention first, followed by a deconstructed baklava for dessert.

Like the resort's other restaurants, it's dinner-only and books through the hotel rather than a public reservation line. It took over the resort's Indian dining slot from Simply India, the room that ran there in the old JW Marriott years.

What an unforgettable dining experience at INDYA! From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional. The food was beautifully presented, full of flavor, and every recommendation turned out to be outstanding. A special thank you to our waiter, Sajeet, who truly made the evening memorable. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and recommended incredible dishes that we absolutely loved. A big compliment as well to Chef Malik, whose talent shines through every dish. Finally, our sincere appreciation to Ashwyna for the warm welcome and outstanding hospitality. Without a doubt, one of the finest restaurant experiences in Mauritius. Highly recommended!

Nice food. Great service. One of best Indian restaurants that I tried. I wanted to book it again but it was fully booked. I recommend to try it. Saji did great service during my time there.
