Everything was perfect..The service, taste and quality was excellent..The codfish is one of the best we ever tasted in many restaurants..All the staff is profesional and very polite. During our 1 week holiday, we selected this restaurant in Dinarobin 2 times..Thanks a lot to Umami for such nice moments.❤️

We were there for my birthday, the staff service was top notch, the food was amazing and the surprise birthday cake was the cherry on the cake.

Great atmosphere and service. But the food does not correspond to the level of the hotel and the theme of the restaurant. I've been to Japan and I've eaten really Japanese food. What 10 dishes were brought in omakasa was a poor imitation of Japanese cuisine. Of all the dishes that were served, only the dessert was worth mentioning. It was quite tasty. But in any case, it was clear that the staff was trying. I hope they can find a good chef for this restaurant.

I had the 10-course menu - Menu Omakase. I expected more from the restaurant. Of the 10 courses, only 3 to 4 were interesting, while the others were boring. Overall, there was no wow effect, not even on a single course. Here's a breakdown of the dishes you had: - New style salmon: A tasty appetizer. - Sushi selection: Average, but for a 5-star restaurant, very bad and boring. - Mushroom soup: Mild and quite pleasant, but without the wow effect. However, it was one of the better ones. - Soft-Shell crab tempura: Nice tempura, but giving one piece for two people is weird!! - Chicken tacos Sansho pepper sauce: Tasted good and better than the other courses, but I couldn't find Sansho pepper sauce in the tacos :-( - Scallops and foie gras kushiyaki-lychee Passion miso**: The best of the menu, stylishly served on a small grill, very nice and good. - Raspberry kakigori: Very tasty and refreshing, but it tasted more like tangerines than raspberries. - Black cod Yuzu-miso: Good and tasty fish. - Wagyu beef teppanyaki Teriyaki-truffle sauce: The biggest disappointment. For me, it was an average steak that wasn't even medium. I could also question the quality of the meat, and the quality of Wagyu is questionable. Definitely the worst Wagyu, if it was Wagyu, that I've ever had. A more precise cutting of the individual pieces would definitely be needed. Our piece of steak even had tendon in it. - Bento box: The ice cream was older because it contained ice crystals. At the buffet dinner, they have better and softer ice cream. The best was the chocolate lava cake - soft and beautifully liquid in the middle, while the Mochi Ice Cream was average. Overall, it seems like the restaurant did not live up to your expectations. You left feeling disappointed and that it was not really a taste experience. Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
