A bar built on experimental distillates, open since late 2024

Mecenas opened on Avenida La Paz on November 29, 2024, built around experimental distillates and homemade liqueurs rather than a standard cocktail-book menu, with street-food-style bites served alongside. Traditional Mexican drinks share the list with the house's own small-batch bottlings, a mix that reads more like a laboratory than a typical Colonia Americana bar.

Within its first year it had already landed at number 18 on the North America's 50 Best Bars list, an unusually fast climb for a bar that had barely finished its first twelve months of service.
