The Red Lights cocktail, gin, pineapple, red pepper and sumac, is the reason to order a second one. SAMA sits on the roof of Diaffa, the Rmili group's longtime restaurant, and it doesn't pretend dinner is the point.

Expect flame-cooked nibbles, octopus, prawns, entrecôte, a resident DJ and tropical accents. It joins Kabana and El Fenn on the medina's small run of rooftops facing the Koutoubia. Doors run 5pm to 1.30am.

Beautiful location with a stunning view and a cozy atmosphere. The food was excellent, and the staff were attentive, friendly, and provided great service. A wonderful place to enjoy a relaxing meal. Highly recommended!

We stopped here for some drinks before dinner at Safran, lovely cocktails and beautiful atmosphere. Our waiter, Medhi and his colleagues were very kind and attentive. Definitely the best rooftop we've been too in Marrakesh 🥰❣️

So generally ok , lovely walk through the building to get to the rooftop, views ok nothing amazing to me, order taken quickly, sadly out of Peroni, so had a Corona,this was a pound less than our bottle of water, so really expensive water or cheap beer 😕shame the lime was sooooo thin too, my lamb shank was so nice and big and flavoursome on a nice mash, unfortunately the wife's steak was awful, ordered medium rare, turned up like an old boot leather left over 80% and still got charged, but the chips were really nice 🙂
