Wine, Campari obsessions and no reservations, in El Beqal

NAPA Chapter 1 is the drinking half of what the El Beqal arcade was missing, wedged between +61 and Farmers. Cocktails rotate in short runs, right now a run of Campari variations worked with fennel and jasmine, turmeric, or raspberry and orange.

Driss Alaoui, who cooks at Farmers and Blue Ribbon, handles the sharing plates. The room leans terracotta and smoked glass, close to speakeasy. No bookings taken, so get there early.
