Live music and rampart views over Kaa El Hafa
Borj El Hafa is built into the old ramparts at Kaa El Hafa, and its terrace looks out over the medina and the hills behind it at sunset. Live music and small art shows run alongside the regular cafe service, which is why it lands on nearly every "best view" list in Tetouan.
It's newer than the medina's classic cafes, and it markets itself that way: more polished, more programmed, less about tradition for its own sake. Tetouan didn't really have a cultural cafe before this, just places to drink tea.

- Book ahead for evenings with live performances, seats fill up fast.
- The upper floor terrace has the better sunset view over the medina.

One of the best spots in Tetouan for a chill vibe. We had a great time here. Just a small suggestion, it would be easier to recognize the waiters if they wore uniforms. Overall, a nice experience!

This rooftop is a hidden gem in Tetouan, great coffee, nice views, friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit!
