Sky7 in Malaliyine runs more like a chicha lounge than a restaurant, and the hours prove it: open into the small hours, sometimes until 4am, long after most kitchens in Tetouan have shut. Almost 300 Instagram posts of shisha clouds and plated food give a fair sense of what people come for.

The house drink, the Blue Sky7 Fezz, gets pushed hard on their social pages, next to a menu built for lingering rather than a fast dinner. Low lighting, a dressed up crowd, food that plays second fiddle to the mood.
