Malua Café runs beside the pool at Rezz Apart Hotel in Maringanha. Brunch, catering, a menu built for lingering rather than rushing through a coffee. Good food, good people, that's the pitch, and the reviews mostly back it up.

Beyond the hotel, the café sets up a food truck at Pemba Social Market: burgers, wraps, brownies. That's how it reaches people who wouldn't otherwise wander into Maringanha. Between the two spots, it's become one of the more relaxed daytime hangouts in Pemba.
