POA Restaurant serves what the kitchen wants to eat, and the menu proves it. Chicken wings, shrimp and lobster pasta, plus sushi drops announced just a few days ahead. Instagram lists the place as much as a cocktail bar as a restaurant, and the drinks menu backs that up.

It's a newer name on Pemba's dining scene, without the decades behind Clube Naval or Pemba Dolphin. The rotating menu and cocktail focus give it a niche away from the city's usual grilled fish.
