Point at the tray, tell them how much, and they cut it to weight. PizzaPezzi skips round pizzas entirely for pizza al taglio, the rectangular Roman style, on Jan Evertsenstraat, the De Baarsjes food street locals call the Jan Eef.

The street was torn up for months around the opening and the shop kept slicing anyway. It's lunch only, Tuesday to Saturday, noon to six, so plan a daytime stop rather than dinner.

What a wonderful pizza place. Real authentic flavors, you can tell that a lot of attention and love was put in every little detail. Can't recommend this place enough. They also seem to secretly make some of the best gelato in town. 10/10 would eat again 🔥🫶

Man, these were some great pizza's! Tried the pepperoni, salciccia and mozzarella di bufala; all winners. The shop is open until 18.00, which didn't really make sense to me at first, but these pizza's handle reheating in the oven very well. Definitely worth a detour, we'll be visiting more often for sure!
