A wine bar from a chef and a sommelier

Wijnbar Flor runs on the Verwersstraat, in the space that used to be Fabuleux, with the small Restaurant Jaune tucked in behind the bar. Chef Nik Tonglet, 36, and sommelier Lorenzo van Doorn, 37, both from Den Bosch with international experience, built the bar around roughly 36 seats.

The list runs from classic to natural wines, priced 40 to 100 euros a bottle, alongside specialty beers and a small menu of snacks and charcuterie.

Ended up here unexpectedly after a day in Den Bosch. Relaxed service, an extensive wine list, and delicious small dishes to accompany drinks. Much quieter, but all the nicer than the "loud side streets" of Den Bosch. Another plus for me were the very clean, atmospheric restrooms. Everything was perfect there too: nice towels, hand cream. So, service, wine, food, and hygiene: a 10!! All in all, DO IT!! We will definitely be back!

We went for a nice bite to eat and drink. It wasn't really planned, but luckily there was still room. Reservations are definitely recommended! We opted for shared dining and were wonderfully spoiled with exquisite food. The recommended wine was also delicious. All in all, worth repeating... highly recommended!

Everything is perfect about this fantastic wine bar! This is the place you want to go to. It is approachable, yet you can tell that the people working here are passionate and knowledgeable.
