Asian lunch by day where the sushi rolls by night

Honey miso chicken buns with karaage and quick pickles are the order here. Lisa Sassen and Nicole Dessing have rolled sushi in this room for ten years, and now the same space runs as a café by day.

No sushi before dark, just coffee, matcha and something sweet to fill the gap. The Fahrenheitstraat shops are two minutes away.

The vegan Sushi-Hotdog was good. The outer shell, like autumn leaves beneath my feet. Crick, crack. It's heart sliced open, warming like the first rays of a newly born sun. Fermentation hit my tongue, like rain in the endless heat of summer. Who would have dared to ponder, that something as perfect as the crispy sushi roll could be bested? Where there's hope, there is life.

Had a great experience here, ordered the sushi burrito and was very good although not as cheap as Australia haha. The waitress Julia was extremely kinda and had a great work attitude and served me quickly. Would recommend this place for sure!

Had an amazing lunch at Cafe Su! Fun and lovely addition to Sushimeisjes at night. At both times it’s a very cozy place. They have interesting food combos and flavors, making it a really refreshing menu. We had the tamago toast and the “huisgemaakte kaassoufflé”. We enjoyed both!
